Identify this Triumph-based car.... Goggomobil?
Discussion
This was emailed around our local car club in NZ - reposting here in case someone knows something about it

Hi
I have just purchased this a triumph based sports racing car in Australia, it is believed to be a early 60s car, the body appears to be to well made to be a one off (but always possible). I am looking for any information people may have, unfortunately the previous owner has passed away and his family know very little about this car, any information you or your club may have would be greatly appreciated , I hope to rebuild it and race it in historic racing in Australia, however to do so I need to establish more information about it. photos can be viewed on the link below,

It has been suggested there were a few of these in NZ and they may have been called a ELF but I can not locate any info on that.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Thats a 50's kit car, put onto a Herald/Spitfire chassis.
It's one of the better kits because it has a boot.
I reckon it's a Tornado like this one, but someone has changed
the front. www.motorbase.com/vehicle/by-id/159/
Also look at the fourth shot down here:-
