Any TRW ABS experts on here?

I have a VX220.
The VX220 has TRW EBC430 ABS, set up as a 2-channel system. It's nasty.
The Elise / Exige and VXR220 have a 4 channel system also using the EBC430.
The part number for the ABS pump and valve block is the same, the part number for the ECU is different.
Unsurprisingly the Elise ABS unit is fairly expensive but is a well known modification for the VX220.
If the ECU is the same but with different software, does anyone know whether it's possible to upload the Lotus software to the VX ECU? Or alternatively find another vehicle using the EBC430 (e.g. a Vectra B) and flash that with the Elise software?
