Anyone any tips here.My front suspension spring on my Rover 75 has broken.I'm trying to undo the bolt that clamps the bottom of the shock into the hub.I had it soaking in wd40 over night.I heated things up with a propane torch and it just won't budge and it's getting to that point where the bolt head is rounding.I've hammered on smaller sockets too to no avail. When the bolt head was, ahem, hexagon shaped i had a perfectly fitting socket on it,a breaker bar 'and' a 2 feet piece of tubing for more leverage, just can't break it!!Anyone help?

Had this as well. Seems you need to be lucky.... rounded already two of those bolts myself but run 3 75s, so not on the same car.
A solution, which you perhaps don't like: take the whole suspension strut including the hub from under the car, replace spring and put it back. Sounds worse than it is (yes the hub nut needs to be undone), but went ok for me.
Bought another 75 which I will never part with and spray that area regularly with stuff that should avoid that bolt not giving in/not come undone to my impact wrench.
There is another forum www.the75andztclub.co.uk where you can find lots of information or post questions specifically for the 75/mg ZT.
Good luck.
