What's the standard tread depth? They look very shallow for just a few days wear.
I believe around 8mm is the depth of a New Tyre, done around 20 miles on them so 7.9999% remaining depending on how you drive.

That is an expensive, powerful and capable car. I can't tell what it is but it's presumably at least a 530, probably a 535 given the high spec (Surround View, nice) so it's what, at least 300bhp?

Quite why you'd be desperate enough to save a few quid a corner on tyres when you've got one of those eludes me. Ah well, as long as you are happy.
I'm not desperate at all and why am I saving a few quid on the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 ( I was going to Buy but not got my size in stock yet )when I could buy the Michelin Sports or conti 5's or 6's whatever the number they are up to.

Now unless you think the Michelins or continentals are worth over twice the price of the Goodyear's that is what eludes me and depends if you drive your car like you stole it or like me drive it sensible.

It is indeed a 535D SE but has a few extras that I can think of

If I don't like the Davanti tyres its not the end of the world, but I need to give it a few months at least to see how they perform in all weather conditions.

That's the bit I don't understand. I'm not against budget tyres. Never have been hell I've even got 4 brand new Nexens on the crv. And they are ok.

Wives shopping car yeah why not. 30k bmw. Why, there are so many great not very much more expensive fantastic tyres out there.

Edited by Pesty on Tuesday 9th February 20:48
Again I wouldn't say they are a budget tyre please remember this and I can not comment on their performance as not had long and my driving style is laid back not foot down everywhere.

30k ...lol yeah for the extras smile

Unfortunately I am not the original owner so never had the option at new, from what I have read on forums most BMW owners change to standard tyres from Runflats for obvious reasons.

What I have found changing from runflats to standards is the ride is so much better pot holes speedbumps. I will also mention how quiet they are and the difference is night and day when compared to the runflats. The steering feels so much more responsive and lighter than before but still feels connected to the tarmac (Sorry A.J.M I used the word Tarmac) something your off roader won't be very good on and your more likely to go into the back of me being honestsmile

At the moment I am pretty happy with the tyres in regards to the noise levels and steering feel but I will need more time and better road conditions than at present especially when you have the power my car has.

Thanks for the above another positive review.

Not in any ditches yet smile ....Had the tyres on a few weeks now and so far so good.

I'm happy with the way the car is handling in the dry & wet and especially how the car rides, much better than the Goodyear Excellence RF's I had on before.

Still more than happy with mine in the way they perform in various conditions. The feedback and steering response is perfect for my style of driving and Yes I do use the 300 plus BHP when safe to do so and it never fails to put a smile on my face.

I know people will still have negative things to say about the brand but really for the money and there performance I feel this is a good product. Would I buy again !! Yes I certainly would without hesitation.

The quote above was directed @ me so let me say my tyre sizes are listed on Davanti's website and even though I have listed pictures with the tyres fitted to my car people "as above" STILL doubt me , why would I lie about a tyre....Haha.

Here is my tyre sizes so you can physically check yourself http://www.davanti-tyres.com/ ....Top Right TYRE SEARCH.

I have even scanned my receipt for you included Product codes. I have edited my personal details and price for obvious reasons.

If you want a personal video with my DNA and me walking round the car showing you physically the tyres and sizes fitted on my BMW 535D are indeed Davanti and more important REAL.

Let's back up a bit. The invoice says that the tyres were supplied and fitted at the Tyre outlet at 298 Liverpool Road? Hang on, that's also the registered address of oak tyres who are the company behind he devanti brand. Odd that you are pushing their tyres and also got them fitted at their head office outlet. Still these things happen.

Hang on a moment - but they were billed to a st Helen's address? What's that - that is also the town in which devanti tyres limited has its registered head office?

But deffo no link to the company. You've got to admit the optic here isn't great.
Davanti head office directed me to the tyre outlet Liverpool even though where I live St Helens there is a Davanti outlet called Maxxi tyres here in St.Helens.

I know the St Helens Branch does not have a 4 wheel alignment maybe this is why I was sent to the closest dealer with 4 wheel alignment as I wanted this done at the time of fitting.

AGAIN just for the thread I have NOTHING to do with Davanti Tyres.

According to the invoice you bought tyres from the tyre outlet, you have no relationship with Davanti but you keep saying you do. Wonder why people are suspicious!!!!!

Amazing coincidence that Domains for Oak tyres and Davanti Tyres, delinte tyres, landsail tyres and evergreen tyres are linked to the same person.

Seems likely to me that all these are mad by the same company in china, important in bulk with whatever branding people want as delinte, landsail and evergreen tyres all have poor reviews, until a respectable body tests the Davanti tyres I remain unconvinced.
Think what you want dude, I am more than happy with my "Purchase" so far and going from personal experience I can recommend Davanti tyres.

So you went to your regular tyre place, he told you to fit Davanti. You then phoned Davanti head office and they sent you to a different fitter to get them fitted.

I'm slightly confused to say the least.
Correct....... St.Helens don't have a 4 wheel alignment which I wanted as stated on page 32.

I wouldn't say or call them Budget tyres more an alternative and choice. I got a good discount off Davanti which helped with my choice. The thing is I am happy with them and would still be happy if I paid the full £400.
