I recently bought a set of second-hand HSD Dual Techs for my E36. They have arrived with one of the rear top click adjustors snapped off and the remains of it stuck in the shaft. Any idea on how to remove this?
I'm not familiar with that damper type. Is the adjuster supposed to be removable? If not, and given that the remains appear to be bent off-center, I suspect the adjustment mechanism is now permanently buggered. Was it shipping damage?
