Hi yes, took the car to a different mechanic who told me that both my ball joints are absolutely knackered. He said the one side was so bad it took him 4 hours to get it off (not sure if he was exaggerating to get more cash out of me) but yes only £55 all in and both wheels look straight to me now.

Will ask my mechanic about this tomorrow, it’s just really doing my head in now as I had 2 garages tell me the car is fine but how can it be fine when you can clearly hear a clunking :/

& also was told the clunking is because of the bad ball joints but they have been changed and car still clunks.
