Hopefully a very quick one.

Just changed a fuel pipe on my car. I recently changed the in tank fuel filter also..... some petrol leaked out while I removed the pipe today and it seemed that the petrol was a very bright yellow/orange colour.

I don’t recall it being like this before... any thoughts?

I’ve drained a bit more fuel out and feeling happier. This looks more normal, maybe the darker fuel is from where it’s been sat in the lines for the last week or so (car has bot been started)

It varies in colour depending on where you buy it but it should be almost clear. That looks like old fuel that has deteriorated. How long has it been sat in the tank?

Thanks Geeks, just seemed off to me. I'm doing my best to burn it all off and refresh the tank anyway!
