easyest way to lower back end of r/wheel drive

Get the spring recambered, or a new one made with less camber.
Is there any scope to revise the shackle link (though this will have an effect on the spring rate)?
More significantly, you could remake the axle and spring to create an underslung (spring under axle) rather than overslung arrangement.
Whatever you do, remember:

Whatever you do, remember:
- Your ultimate limit is likely to be metal-to-metal (axle hits chassis)
- Damper lengths will probably need to change, or you need to move the mounts.

It's the usual way to do it on Midgets.
The OP is talking abot a Reliant Robin for crissakes not a racing car!!
It's one way to do it on Midgets, and on Escorts and on numerous other cars with live axles, but that doesn't make it a good idea! Why would anyone bother with decambered springs if lowering blocks were a good solution? The OP is talking abot a Reliant Robin for crissakes not a racing car!!

is there enough power to cause axle tramp?
You don't need lots of power to cause axle tramp, just a badly located axle and an enthusiastic launch.Gassing Station | Suspension, Brakes & Tyres | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
