To save a lot of experimentation, can any body advise which direction reduces damping on Racing Reds.

Adjuster at the bottom as if you were looking downwards, clockwise or anti clockwise ?

Cheers

Dunno about Racing Reds, but it's usually clockwise to increase damping. (eta: that's clockwise looking at the adjuster as though it's a bolt though: ie. screw in to stiffen, screw out to soften; if it's 'upside down' you may need to 'read' the direction from below).

Easy enough to check, anyway: if you set them full clockwise, if the damping is stiffened in that direction it will be obvious just by pushing down on that corner of the car: you'll get a lot of resistance and the car will be noticeably slow returning to ride height.

Screw in towards the damper to stiffen, screw out to slacken - whether the adjusters are knobs on the side or rings on the axis, (whichever way up they are fitted..) It's just closing a valve that's all, not any magical jiggery pokery IYSWIM

Thanks all.

I have now softened them off a bit.

8 clicks front and 4 cliks back (from fully soft)

Any one run them significantly different.

There are loads of permutations
