cat pee and car seat what to do as it stinks
Discussion
We used to have an elderly cat who occasionally peed on the carpet, albeit in the house. We got some carpet shampoo specifically for 'pet stains' (as they euphemistically put it, although I think the tag line "Gets rid of the smell of piss!" would have been a winner) and that worked.
We currently use,

Which works quite well. We did have another product that was better (but couldn't find it stocked) and I'm raking my brain for the name of it.

Just regarding the rug doctor suggestion.
Any where that rents the machines will also stock the chemicals that they supply. I think Sainsburys rent the machine in some shops.
