I have some Meguiars Gold Wax, liquid stuff and use a Meguiar applicator pad and then take it off with a microfibre towel, again a Meguiars product. I wash the car with either autoglym stuff or meguiars body wash.
My problem is I always get wax bloom on any of the 3 cars I have tried it on, it seems to go after a few washes, all 3 cars have been mopped within the last 3 years. I do try and apply quite sparingly.
Anyone have any problems with this liquid wax stuff and am I doing anything obviously wrong?

Are you leaving the wax long enough to cure? You may be removing it when still 'wet' and this is then curing again after buffing, creating a bloom effect. Give at least 15 mins and remove it, until clear. There should be no bloom afterwards, unless a strong wash solution is 'wetting' the wax and interfering with it again, later on.

Could be over application or level of pressure used to apply. Uneven displacement of liquid products can sometimes leave light smearing which can usually be sorted out but a light spray of quick detailer and wipe over. Have you ever clayed and polished / cleansed the paintwork prior to applying the liquid wax? This could also help matters quite significantly.
