Detailing Spray - what's it for?

Guy at work was raving about Dodo Juice. I have some Meguiars Spray that I use on my dashboard but he says its for the bodywork. What does it do? Is it instead of polish or wax?

Depends if you have the external quick detailer (dark red bottle) or the interior quick detailer (black bottle)

The bodywork one is not a replacement for either wax or polish. It just a nice finisher, useful for showrooms etc

I use it as a lubricant for claying.

I use it after a wash when I'm not waxing the car.

Same. It's just a nice way of getting rid of dried watermarks and 'finishing off' a normal quick cleaning session. Doesn't strip wax away or anything - it's purely cosmetic really!
