Clay bars - amazing
Discussion
I followed the advice people gave me earlier in this thread - I spent my money on Meguirs Quik Clay - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Meguiars-G1016EU-Smooth-S... - (no doubt available cheaper elsewhere) this includes the quik detailer, microfibre towel and 2 clay bars in a reclosable plastic box. I've had pretty good results on all the cars I've clayed, even if, in some cases, I just washed/dried/clayed.
One thing I have learned - don't clay in direct sunlight or on a hot day - the quik detailer evaporates far too quickly.

I think that's where I went wrong, the one and only time (to date) that I've clayed my current car, I ended up with very stubborn grey hazing on the body panels afterwards, I think because the Meguiars Quik Detailer had dried out. Are specific clay lube products not better for this task for that reason?https://www.bilthamber.com/waxes-polishes-and-clay...
try the bilt-hamber clay, only need water as a lube so you can use as much lube as you need. I have used it a few times and its great, you can tell the difference for sure.
