Im thinking about buying one of these to make my job of polishing the cars eaiser but wondered which pads to choose.
I will be using it for basic polishing duties so no real need at the moment for large amounts of cutting action.
Something that does not throw the polish around too much would be a bonus if anyone has used them.
Any suggestions would be great.

I like Menzerna yellow pads as they do everything.
Be cautious about thinking a soft pad is the safe option as its not always the case.
Those yellow pads feel firm but they do a great job.
No pad should really throw compound as you won't be running the machine off the paint and when primed properly its not an issue.

I have a DAS-6 Pro and I generally use Koch Chemie compounds, polishes, cleaners and their pads. They work well together as a system and the pads play nicely with other brands such as Scholl.
But have a go with the new generation of microfibre pads (get one for cutting and one for polishing) - the generally provide a very good finish quickly.
