A few months ago I chose to go down a narrow lane. Not at random. I wanted to get to a telephone mast..

The lane was rather narrow and then got narrower. I ended up with an stone wall an inch either side and some shrubs growing out of the wall.... my trip was ended by a farmer on a quad letting me know it gets worse and there was a better route... I then had a fun reverse...

My car is now somewhat scratched although none are deep...

Today I have tried to polish out the scratches with mixed success, used poorboys black hole and a coat of wax with spectacular results. I'm astonished at the results...

This photo shows a location where I know there is a scratch...

Black hole is a filler and doesn't do anything but hide the scratches, it's a light based pigment that causes a high level of refraction - it's great at hiding swirls as well on black

The wax will make it last longer but they'll still reappear over time as it wears off

Yup. Realise that.

Seems little point in paying to get it sorted at this point. Wait until the end of the lease, after I've had more undergrowth attack...

Such a good reflection it has turned your car upside down.

Edit. Photo sorted and now this comment looks odd.

Is the black hole that good? Been thinking about getting some to hide swirls on a blue car.

You could try a da polisher to remove the scratches permanently, good thread with a guy using the duress da on an M5 with seemingly decent results
