I have a ex military Land Rover that when new had a satin paint finish not the normal matt finish. Over The last 22 years it has faded to a full matt can this be restored back to a satin finish with out repainting? It is a factory registered vehicle that is all original so I am keen to keep the original paint
Cheers

Not really, satins and matt finishes are not suitable for polishing as the process would bring the shine back, but wouldn't be consistent throughout the paint work, and make it look a lot worse. Don't really know your options other than a good clean.

When i had a satin car this stuff was recommended to me to keep it clean, it worked well for me, i reckon it would restore the satin finish
