Tips being at the back aren't to bad with respect to heat.
Your biggest issue will be fouling when hitting bumpy roads/speed bumps that cause the exhaust to move and possibly hit the bumper/splitter.
Play it by ear, see what you can get away with. The other side of the coin, if it's upgraded (bigger) pipework and lowered car is the system overall sits closer to the floor so can foul that way also.
