My car (Civic EP3 type R) is booked in for the geometry to be set-up after I've changed some MOT advisory bushes on the front.

In the future I'll also change the rear anti-roll bar bushes. Should I postpone the geo set-up till after i've done these? Or will one not effect the other?

Thanks

ARB bushes won't affect geometry.

As above, as long as you don't have to undo any other suspension mounts/joints to replace the bushings.

TBH I would only do that if you plan to also change the ARB drop-links as they will likely be damaged during removal.

Thanks - if the drop links were being replaced would that effect the geometry?

Not sure if you've sorted it, but I've just done this on the Type R. The ARB was in pretty poor condition (now upgraded to a JDM spec bar) and the drop links even worse! The ARB bolts were knackered and had to be "extracted" and replaced. I also had to hacksaw off the drop links. You could easily change the ARB bushes without having to remove the drop links - I might get poly ones.

Regards to ANY suspension bushes - One assumes the geometry is aligned when all bushes are in good condition. Therefore replacing any bushes will return geometry to as aligned. Unless bush / balljoint replacement destructively changes any adjuster settings of course......

ARB bushes will not change geometry at all.

All they do is locate the ARB, and that is connected by a fully articulated arm to the wishbone.
