PPF anyone disappointed?

I know ppf has been done many times on ph and I’ve looked at a lot of threads but was wondering if anyone has regretted getting it done. Not because of installers poor workmanship but any other reasons.

1- didn’t do what it said on the tin
2 - self healing not as good as it claimed to be
3 - affected the paintwork in some way
4 - anything else?

Having read into this and trying to explore if a company can 'restick' the edges of factory PPF it doesn't sound as good as its made out to believe. The dealer also did the bonnet but there's a slight lift at the edge and no doubt where a jet washer has had a play. I'm now thinking get it taken off completely?

Take a look at this site. Only lasts 5yrs before the glue breaks down!
