Metallic Black Mercedes

Only bought in October so although it has been polished and waxed with good products I'm yet to put any ceramic coating on because it lives outside so haven't risked it

Nevertheless I'm surprised by the water marks after every wash. It's as though I'm lettting the rinse water dry on the paint. I'm not, so it must be rain etc
It's easy to to remove with a detailer spray but the last thing I want to be doing is a buff down every week on black paint. Dodo juice tropical mist worked a treat last wash but after washing this morning the marks are back. I've buffed a few out again but surely I shouldn't have to every week/wash?
The drying off with waffle towel etc nicely dries and removes the water but not the marks without either rubbing harder or the above

Final rinse with an open hose or use a water filter to remove the minerals.

I would normally go with that. In fact I used to rinse with just filtered water. However these marks seem to be from the days in between washes where the car gets wet then drys in the fresh air.

I don't think you'll ever stop that, one of the joys of owning a black car!
