I've a 1998 Ford KA, which has a rubber moulding running the length of the roof on both near and offside.
This rubber protects the weld joining bodywork and roof.
One of them, the nearside is missing. I appreciate the importance of this rubber moulding but the Ford main stealer wants £60.00 for a length of rubber which is approximately 3-4ft long.
Any cheaper alternatives out there?

Look ford to your replies, thanks

That rubber doesn’t protect the welds, it’s only a cosmetic trim. Best bet is to go to a scrap yard/breakers.

Thanks for the info. I've decided to go with a tube of adhesive and neoprene tape.
