Greased Lightning??
That's the one.
Funnily enough just been given a bottle of this by my future brother-in-law.

Goes on really easily and comes off with very little elbow grease - after one wash haven’t needed to re-apply and the beading is very good. Unsure if the shine is as good as Autoglym but we will see.

And the best bit is you can use it on the glass, rubbers, plastics etc word of warning though if the wife starts using it around the house you'll never see it again!

Been using Megs NXT 2.0 for years now. Missus has a three year old SLC in metallic grey. Paint is reasonably good, hasn’t deteriorated much at all, I have a one stage machine polish planned for spring to resolve some really (really really) minor issues.

I washed and used NXT 2.0 back in November to give it a little protection over winter. Went out today to wash and redo the wax as it is so easy and there is absolutely no need. It’s still there and looking good, which is very surprising as the car does a few miles and we live right on the south coast with salt in the air all the time it is windy - and we’ve had plenty of that lately plus the damn seagulls of course!

Spring will bring me a test of the new Turtle Wax hybrid ceramics. I was going to do a minor correct with Megs 105/205 followed by Pyramid Ceramic coating but saw the new TW stuff which looks really good. So I am gonna go with a one stage with the Turtle Wax ceramic polish (next to nothing to correct) and then their ceramic spray. Really don’t want to change product as her car looks brilliant but I have to give the new stuff a go.

Might use it on the silver Freelander first to see what we get... she’ll grumble if it isn’t as clear and shiny after spending dosh changing product.

Essentially a QD spray: goes on in most conditions, looks great!
