Roll cages

Going to fit a cage into MkII golf GTI What do you think I should consider. Need to know about types and fitting, pros and cons?

Depends what you are going to use it for and how much protection you want. You can get relatively simple bolt in rear cage only ones through to weld in ultra stiff ones.

If it's for motorport, it will need to comply with specific quality and design regulations (which will vary depending what branch of motorsport). At the other end of the scale if it's purely cosmetic you can just stick foam tubes to the inside of the car. You may not want to go to either of these extremes, but I'd suggest you probaby want to stick to the spirit of the MSA regulations if you expect it to provide any protection.
