Or you could just buy the autoglym protection from Audi thats like pisswater!

It's a Q3 enjoy the car but protect with spray wax...I like to protect/seal a car to avoid washing it every five minutes not improve resale.

Thanks all for the great advice. We won't bother with a coat and I'll try to avoid the jet wash as much as I can (had no idea it's so bad for a car's paintwork)
A jet wash it’s self is fine, all detailers use them (have a look on YouTube). Swirl marks are created by grinding grit into the paint. The worst culprits being dirty sponges Or the soapy broom thing at a diy petrol station car wash I believe. Google the two bucket method on how to avoid creating swirl marks.

If you have it ceramic coated it will reduce the ability for dirt to stick to it. You could then foam and rinse the car to get the worst off or wash it properly for better results.

This can be a contentious issue but that’s my view :-)

I have bought many new cars and I get them all Ceramic/PPF. Admittedly they are never put through a car wash but they are driven a lot and some are tracked. The finishes last very well.
