Hello everyone,

I've been thinking about some light mods for my 182, mainly some gold paint for a few bits (nothing too Saudi tho, dw) and I hoped to source some gold seat belts too. The car is 'black gold' apparently so thought I'd nod to the gold, change it up.

I can probably get a local painter to sort out the bits of trim I want painted, but, has anyone ever used a place to dye their seatbelts?

It seems from Google that I'd have to buy some plain ones and send them to one place in the USA to get them dyed to match the gold paint I'll use elsewhere, but this seems more effort than it should be in 2023.

I'm in Manchester, I would've thought someone knows someone on here who could help?

Cheers!

Not something I’ve personally done but if you search for seatbelt rewebbing there are plenty of companies to choose from.

Not used these, but something like this is probably better than dyeing...
