Hi.

I've just bought a new car and wanted some advice on ceramic coatings etc.

Where is the best subforum to get some info?

Cheers

A quick search would have revealed the Bodywork & Detailing sub forum...?

Do you think multiple buckets REALLY make any difference?

I own two pro car cleaning buckets, but decided that one bucket with a mesh was enough. The second one is now a wheel brush receptacle. I am not aware of any worse scratching than before.

I'm a bit of a rebel, I only use one and it's a large plasterers bucket.
Obviously cleaned before use.
No grit guard either.

1 bucket for me up to now.

Rinse off,

Wheel cleaner & Snowfoam

Wash with mitt. And a brush for wifes car due to its annoying wheels.

Rinse.

Cup of tea.

I got a couple of buckets and grit guards when "detailing" was catching up over and you couldn't get that sort of thing at Halfords.

16 or so years later I've still still got them and they still work.

It seems a tiny investment relative to the cost of a car and I'm struggling to think of any downside using two.
