Hi chaps,

Been on about buying a compressor for the garage for AGES but never got around to it....now though, I have a valid excuse....I NEED a pneumatic nail gun for an outside project (I don't of course, thats just they party line )

Thinking about a 50ltr receiver (but willing to take guidance) as I don't want to be drilling/cutting and its constantly having to fill the receiver.

Most of my work will be for air tools (drills, windy ratchet guns, recip saws, etc)...to be honest, not planning on using it for spraying (paint spraying, plastering, welding = use professional!).

Which make do most of you think is a good bet. I have a Machine Mart v local to me who sell Clarke (obviously), but also seen SIP at Halfrauds and heard of Ingersol.

Not using it day-in-day-out, when i do use it, it'll be used quite a lot for a project on the westfield, then it'll sit idle for months probably.....

Thoughts?

Cheers
Spencer

Thanks Lizst, good starting point, Clarkes do indeed come out well...the only trouble is, my garage will end up looking like a Machine Mart if I buy any more Clarke kit! (shouldve bought shares...)

Cheers
