Sounds stupid i know but i'm getting alot of stone chips on my 106 and i can't find the right touch up paint anywhere.

Is there a site that lists manufacturer's colours so i can try to get a match? Its a light metallic green althogh in this pic it looks more like blue so i guess i might have some probs getting it right online.

Ive tried halfrauds etc but they dont have it.

Could a mod please edit the title to put the appropriate 'what' in so i don't get accused of muppetry? Thanks.

Just take the car (or bit of trim/fuel cap etc) to any decent paint stockists and they should be able to match it for you. I use jawel paints who have always been excelent (but i think they're based in the midlands)
Hope this helps

I can say with some certainty, its a kind of bluey greeny ish colour

elsewhere descibed here as spastic-blue

an unkind, but none the less accurate term

Only spastic in halfrauds paint section was the one trying to give me a can of non metallic lime green, insisting it was right even though it didn't match the filler cap i was holding at the time.

Am i allowed to say that? Sorry if ive ofended any spastics hippy

A paint supplier will mix a paint to match a sample piece you take to them. This is the best way as your paint will have faded. Make sure your sample has seen daylight.
They can also supply the paint loaded to an aerosol can.

Look on your door panels on the inside of the car, (door jamb?) there is usally something there in a lot of cars.

Or ask your manufacturer?
