carnut101, can you share your experience? I'm about to have mine detailed and would appreciate all the advice I can get. Also I've been in touch with off your marks, he quoted 500 quid, which is by far the highest quote so far. Any one know anyone cheaper?!!

I will say that for £500 for matts work you will be really really please with the out come of your car !!!
You do get what you pay for and i bet he wants your car for at least a couple of days as it will take that long to be done properly !!! wink

This does all depend on what you have decided to have done to the car ?
I guess this is for full paint correction detail which is what i charge for the same service , if so i would stick with matt at off your marks !!

As Kelly says, you will be very pleased with Matt's work, he is very highly regarded in the detailing community. It may seem expensive but its worth every penny

I honestly don't know where to start

I didn't listen to the detailers saw this thread too late

These guys know their subject and seem keen to impress . I listened to a main dealer London (super car) and am

Now paying the price and having to have drive and shine put it all right.

My experience I had a few minor scratches and swirls now I have a few more scratches and the same swirls nicely covered by cling film quality protection film and all for just over a grand

Nice one !

Good luck, I hope you can get some satisfaction from the main dealer. If it is of any interest I've just secured a payment from a Porsche main dealer in the North west for damage they caused whilst in for a service. It took a great deal of persistance and the threat of legal action, but satisfaction none the less. A thread on this site seamed to hury things along.

Yep the main dealer suggested I use permagard

They wanted to double the price so I went direct

They did a shocking job I may post pics etc

Refusing payment at the moment as they've put llumar film over the bloody scratches!

Paint correction wasn't done..

Nightmare don't use this stuff
