Hi all,
I've got two lots of glue which I'd like to remove.
The first is some residue from an old tax disc holder on the inside of a windscreen.
The second is where some badges have fallen off the back of a car, which the missus now wants bedaging.
Can anyone recommend a suitable substance to remove each of these, please?

autoglym tar and glue remover is probably the easiest to get hold of from the high street. or you can use white spirit if you're tight
remember to fully clean and re protect the area of paintwork after though. the t&g remover or white spirit will strip any protection on the paintwork.

one of them did reply not everyone has access to the trade products, hence saying about the autoglym stuff which is available in every halfords and most motorfactors.
AG T&G is very good. IPA is not necessarily a trade product. I believe chemists stock it, as does Maplin (in spray form)http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?ITAG=FAQ&M...
WD40 is also very good at removing glue residue. As already stated, you'll need to reprotect the paintwork afterwards.
