The previous owner of my wifes car had a kiss sticker on the boot, but no matter what i try to do i cant get rid of it. Its a pair of lips and is only visable close up, but its bugging me.

Ive tried tar and sap remover and pretty much every product ive got in the shed, whats best to get rid of it?

Is it deffinately glue marks and not faded paint?

I'd ahve thought that glue and tar remover would shift any glue.

Its glue mate, you can see a pair of lips on it ill try a better brand of glue remover.

edit - thinking about it, it could be that the whole car has faded slightly and what was under the sticker hasnt?

Autoglym Tar and Glue remover should do the job. You may need to soak it in a bit with a soft cloth but gentle rubbing should then remove the residue.

Lighter fluid will get rid of the glue... but it may also take some of the paint off too! biggrin

Try a product called TARDIS - it is a tar and glue remover, but very very good...
