Whats the best medium for lifting the dirt out of the 'grain' in the interior trim ??

Its colour isportland grey, and the muck is not too bad, but when you look closely its in the grain.

I have tried a foam carpet cleaner but it hasn't moved it at all.

Any suggestions ???

Two possible options. Buy some All Purpose Cleaner (APC), mix with water, maybe 5 parts water to 1 part APC and use a sponge to clean the area of rub gently with a brush.

If that does not work then a wet / dry vacuum is your best answer. Just remember never soak a seat.

Is the trim....plastic, carbon fibre, are we talking about cloth seats or leather?? Can you be more specific.

Its the man made fibre that covers the tunnel. (looks like leather)

Its a bit mucky and is engrained.

A mild solution of APC ( ALL PURPOSE CLEANER ) or Car Lack 68 Citrus Cleaner and a microfibre cloth. Then dress with a decent product like Einszett Cockpit premium or Poorboys Natural Look Dressing.

Thanks.

I'll track down some cleaning fluids, as mentioned, and give it a try.
