What do I use? Someone suggested a 50/50 baby shampoo and water mix.
Suggestions welcome please.

If using Bilt Hamber Auto Clay all you need is water. For any other clay bars you need a lubricant. Many people use Meguiars Last Touch spray cut 1:1 with filtered soft water or any quick detailing spray, as made by Chemical Guys, Clearkote, Sonus, Zaino, Meguiars etc
I would NOT use baby oil mixed with water on my car!

The suggestion was baby shampoo (not oil) mixed 50/50 with water.

as per belleair. i personally wouldn't be using a mix of babyshampoo and water as a lube for claying.

i tend to use the megs last touch as it works out great value.

Would Turtle wax ICE detailer be OK with a Meguiars Clay bar?
