Cleaning window trims

On the old cars I am cleaning the window trims make a big difference between looking old and looking okay. Is there an effective/quickish way to do them? Hard scrubbing gets dirt off but requires a lot of elbow grease. Then I have to get the edge of a cloth into the edges of the seals and it takes forever and looks nothing like new. Here's a pic of my rear window base for example:

- dirt is sat in the corners and also the trim is discoloured just at the corner where presumably it doesn't get cleaned.
