Does anyone know who long the repairs last?

To me it looks like they are just rubbing paint into the panel and then buffing it off once dry. I would like to see the repair from the side angle to see if its really gone. Also i bet that rediculous mop he has on the buffer leaves a fair share of holograms in the paint.

In essence that is what they're doing (I can't view the video but I have used this particualr sytstem and done a few repairs myself) There is a little bit more to it than that but in basic terms you're right they are rubbing paint into the scratch/chip.

The mop size has bugger all to do with holograms. If you're getting buffer trails then you're doing something wrong.

I've used this system on a few cars and it is a fantastic system, it does work.

There is some technique involved in refining it down (which I won't go into here) but if it's done properly you will not be able to see the repair at all.

Like I said earlier I wont go into how the system works here. But no you don't need to mix paints to get an exact colour match. It's only designed for filling smaller scratches etc ... Not reparing bigger defects
