Cleaning alloy wheels
Discussion
I have been offered some alloys from a friend to replace the eighteens on my FTO (really crap ride with these fitted) now the only problem is they have been left stacked up in his garage for nearly 12 months and are covered in dirt!
Ive tried the usual spray on wheel cleaners and scrubbed them etc....but still can not get the ingrained brake dust and general crap off them, so any ideas? are there any 'magic' cleaners out there? or is it just a case of scrub away.......

The guy I use is 40 pound a corner. You just take the wheels off and drop them in and pick them up in a day or two. The difference is well worth it and it gives you the option to change the colour if its a full blast. I also use it as an opportunity to put on new tyres as he takes them off and rebalances them for me.
