Horrible Smell

Does anyone know how to get rid off horrible smells?

The interior of my car smells like 'bubblegum pop' and I can't stand it.

I've tried 'Autoglym Odour Remover'. That didn't work.

I've put an air freshener in and that's struggling to be smelt at all!

Any ideas?

Is the smell coming from the interior or your a/c? The a/c filter may need cleaning or you may have a bacteria within the system.

If the smell is from the carpets or the seats I would suggest getting the car valeted by somebody with a decent wet / dry vac.

Turn the car on and put the heater on full and re-circulation. Set it off in the middle of the car and leave for half an hour with the engine & heater running, then quickly jump in and turn the car off, then leave for a few hours.
