This may be in the wrong section, apologies if it is but a friend of mine needs a little help...

'does anyone know how or where you can get several gouges/rips in a interior door card repaired?

It's on the rear passenger door, on the vinyl/plastic bit by the door handle, and towards the hinges...''

Anywhere recommended cheap and near Maidenhead would be appreciated - or is there some way of doing it myself

Thanks'

Any help appreciated
Thanx
Matt

What car is it?

I've been all pikey before and replaced a door card with one from a scrappy. Was immaculate aswell.

The above is pretty much the easiest and probably cheapest for the vast majority of cars. Which car is it?

When I looked at a 5mth old otherwise immaculate Merc, it had a deep cut in the light grey plastic centre console.

The salesman (MB Direct, Birmingham) dismissed it with a wave of his hand and said it would be invisibly mended, and it was too. I would defy any normal examination to say it had been repaired, the colour is perfect and even the graining of the plastic is pretty good.

I take it from that that any car repairer should be able to do it.

Hiya

Firstly thanks to Matt for posting this thread for me, and allowing me to highjack his account quickly - I dont have my own PH log in (yet!).

And thanks for the replies. Its a Hyundai i30 (2009) - tis a company car which is going back shortly so I need to get it fixed or they will sting me

. I have been doing some looking on google, and there is something called a smart repair..but nowhere seems to do it in my neck of the woods!??!!

Replacement card might be the way forward.. any recommendations of scrappies where I might actually find one?

Thanks again,
