Hello, I'm selling my Mondeo ST TDCI soon and the state of the alloys are currently shocking. The front wheels have brake dust (I think) welded between ALL 16 odd spokes from when the brakes needed doing and through those icy days we have a few months ago. I've scrubbed and scrubbed with normal car wax and alloy brush but it doesn't budge at all. It really will be a tough job to get off. The rear wheels have some black greasy stuff on (from tyre change) which will seem to come off with a bit of elbow grease.

Any suggestions on some cleaning products that could possibly get this grime off? or would that stuff the car valet people do? (unlickely).

Thanks smile

Cheers for that. LookslikeI'll probably get that 1. Last question though, will the 500ml do all 4 wheels or am I best getting the 1ltr?

500ml should be sufficient to do many, many wheels, not just the four on your car.

Either that or Wicked Wheels which you can buy from Halfords. It's very strong and acidic so don't get any on your skin and don't leave it on the wheels any longer than you need to. Too strong to use regularly but fine for a one off.
