There are hundreds of variants of grey available for car paintwork now. Different shades from different brands from different eras.

Please post your grey pictures along with the colour name if you know it. The colour I'm looking for is a variant of graphite/anthracite metallic.

Thank you.

Pointless exercise due to:
a) your computer display won't be calibrated
b) the other members' camera may not pick up the colour correctly due to lighting conditions - white balance not balanced!
c) the photos uploaded may have been tweaked to enhance colour, contrast, brightness, gamma, etc.

If you're looking for a shade of grey/anthracite, pop along to your nearest body repairer, and look at the standard manufacturers' chip cards, or any spray outs they may have done, and look at them outside in natural daylight.

does that make sense ? as phil said you will need to compare different shades of the colour you are after at the same time in the same light conditions the only problem with colour chips and spray outs is the lack of 3 dimensional effect as seen on a contoured car body panels which will change the colour too
