Lacquer peeling off

i think its the lacquer thats peeling off but then again im not 100% on it but im guessing its a respray time which is not really worth it for my car unless it doesnt cost a fortune
The rest of the car looks a bit pink...So the whole car will need polishing back to get rid of the oxidization and bring the redness back...
It'll be a bugger to match, and the rest of the car will turn pink again quicker than the fresh paint on the roof... As you say, it's probably not worth it...

I'm guessing he means a hand polish with something non-abrasive like SRP rather than a rotary polish with something harsh...
Hate yo tell you this but AG SRP is actually quite abrasive, I've just spent the weekend using it to cut back some new soft paint....the clear coat has separated away from the basecoat, can be one of a few things if the roof had been painted before they might have left the basecoat to dry to long before applying the clear coat or it's a crap cheap clearcoat.
You wont polish the car up if its basecoat and clear all you would do is polish the clear the colour sits under the clearcoat unlike old reds which were straight 2k
Roof to have sprayed between 100-175 plus paint and vat depending on quality of the body shop you use
