Yeah that metallic black looked dripping wet, nice deep shine.

Minimal prep followed by blackfire gloss enhancing polish and a coat of BF paint sealant, mesmerising to say the least.

Looks great Kelly, but can you post some of your silver cars that you detailed?

Also, can we start putting the products used?

If I (or Kelly) said 3M Trizact 3K, would you be any the wiser as to what that means or how it is to be used?
In other words, knowing the products used is only a small part of the overall process involved to achieve these results.

No, but then not all of us are professional detailers. I'm sure that we can pick up some tips either way?

For those who are interested, I used Poorboys SSR1-3, followed by Poorboys sealant then Autoglym HD wax.

Hi JFR

My car was wet sanded by Kelly (see below from page 1). Before it had not much of a reflection, but now..... wow. I am sure Kelly will post plenty more now. I can see pics of every colour coming along soon lol

Kelly uses over 30 different waxes/sealants, tried and tested over the years. Here are a couple of pics of my car which Kelly wetsanded.

Yes, but you're going to be basing results on products used, rather than the skill to use them to their best.
Knowing that he uses 3M Fast Cut+ with a certain pad, only provides so much useful info.
How/what speed the combo are used, etc is not useful because his rotary technique is different from mine, which is different from yours, assuming you're not using a DA, in which case it's different again.

With respect, I think you are being defensive. This is your job, and we will never be able to match your results. But my point is, if there is a product that produces great results, why can't we share it on this thread? The technique required to use that product effectively is another matter, one that can be researched by whoever is interested.

Chances are, the stuff you use is too expensive or tricky to master for most, but I for one am interested anyway.

A lot of my pics posted are bare paint after solvent wipe down after rotary correction .
There is no wipe on wipe of product that really going to change more so improve reflection.
I will.update these facts in the future .

Posting from a phone (which is the first time) .

Loving the reflection shots! I always wash/polish/wax my car by hand and am quite impressed by the reflections I can get, however, they are not a patch on what I've seen in this thread. I know I'll never get results like the above unless I use a machine, knowing me I'll do more harm than good!! How much would it cost me to get my car polished to the standard I have seen on this thread? I know this is a 'how long is a piece of string' type question, just give me an idea!

Thanks!
