Wax deposits removal

The last person to wash and wax the missud black car clearly used too much wax. We are now stuck with deposits on the car that have hardened and look terrible.

I've clay barred with minimal success. Is there a better method I could be employing?

Use a plain old pencil eraser (a rubber).

Thanks for the tip. Saw it a bit late though and ended up using Megs paint cleaner.
