Normally i just use water, but it seems to need an extra bit of oomph modern chemicals can provide smile

So any ideas to bring it back to black, and still waterproof! smile

Get an Autoglym kit if it's just normal grime, or Renovo if it needs a bit more gumption.

Handy hint is to clingfilm all the surrounding glass/bodywork to save overspray of the protecting stuff.

I used the Autoglym Kit on my old Z4 and it certainly improved it but as stated above Renovo is supposed to be another level above (and pricier)

Renovo all the way. The system just works so well. Cleaner really penetrates deep into the canvas and shifts some real heavy grime. The proofer is second to none. Roof will bead like freshly waxed paint for months.
