Other than the absolute pile of sh**e that is the Channel 7 coverage?

With Channel 9 having missed almost every single event of importance (because it didn't have an Aussie athlete) in 2012 I really thought Channel 7 wouldn't dare be as bad - I was wrong frown

So any recommendations that don't involve a UK based VPN (as I've tried all of them and their too slow)?

Thanks in advance

Here in sunny Bulgaria I use KODI with the Sports Devil addon, watching LIVETV.ru (Russian TV !) and there's a dozen channels to chose from, all different events, and the majority with English commentary.

You mean the ads and cross-promotes that are inconveniently interrupted by the occasional sporting event?

As a bloke who's family like horsing around, when not hooning, I have to say that I have never seen a better coverage of eventing than the channel 7 coverage this Olympics.

Apart from that, & the show jumping to come, there is not a single event at the Olympics that I would bother to turn on a TV to watch, other than to support our team.

I have developed a technique to do that, without wasting too much time. Whenever the commentator gets very excited, you look up from whatever you are doing to watch the replay.

Even using this technique there are times when the choice is reduced to things like soccer, volleyball & water polo. Faced with such boring stuff, even if an Oz team is winning, all you can do at such times is turn the TV off.
