WA to ban radar detectors?

Well considering if you even breathe on the loud pedal in Australia a member of the fuzz will know, by osmosis, it was you, I'd say it won't make any difference. Essentially, you can't drive anything 'properly' in Australia, so why bother. Owning a performance car in Australia is akin to thinking you're the big dog whilst everyone around you is doing this...

did this ban in WA on radar detectors actually happen?

If so, how do you guys cope? I'd find that very frustrating with all the revenue gathering... it's bad enough in NZ

It did.

I coped by de-looming both my cars, and paying $150 to the government every few months.

Really fustrating, but you've reminded me I need to put the two I have on eBay.
