gaaaah WTF is wrong with drivers here?!?!

When I come down a slip road on to the freeway I always try and make sure I am doing the speed limit by the time I enter the lane unless of course I need to be going slower to get in a gap or sometimes faster...

All the bloody time though I come down a slip road...pick my gap well in advance..start indicating really early..match my speed with the gap and the person that I am going to be pulling in ahead of ALWAYS decides to speed up just as I am coming to the end of the slip road markings meaning they are overtaking me in the same lane as me as the road is merging!! I end up having to swerve left again or brake to let them in.

I reckon we should have a pistonheads BBQ to sit around and have a rant about the roads here...ya can all poke at my bunky MR2 as well

A PH meet somewhere in Perth would be good, there are a few more of us than I first thought. Was planning to go to Pistonfest this year but had to cancel the trip to England so a local meet would almost make up for it

yep, living down in Aubin Grove, just near Atwell/Success/Jandakot.

Not feeling very PH like at the moment as our only car is a Kia Sorento but its my wifes .

I'm sure i'll get that HSV R8 soon....

And yep a meet would be good.

Meh who cares what you drive now...the intent is there and I dont think its WHAT you drive that makes you a pistonhead its the passion for things with theels and engines that does it.

Ha my GF just bought a bloody Hyundai Elantra! Just an appliance to her. I'm also looking out for a CSR8, VZ prolly if I can find a manual one and if my ing ex wife ever agrees to a settlement
