I know this might be a bit of a long shot but Iam hoping that someone on here subscribes to motor magazine. Could you tell me if the February issue as an article about caning a lambo Gallardo and a Fazza 430 in the northern territory. Or it might be in the March issue Thanks for your help.

sorry for the late reply - only just saw yr thread - I get MOTOR every month delivered straight to my office in Orxford - I remember the article - I'll dig them out next day or two & post back then

just heard they did a lap of tassie over a weekend. Sounds like a must do next time. Quite a long haul from SA or WA, I'll fly over from Perth and jump in someone's passenger seat!


last weekend a few of us went to Tasmania to do a quick lap of the island.
the attending cars were a varied bunch, a Lamborghini Gallardo SE, Ferrari 355 Challenge, Porsche 997 GT3, Honda NSX, BMW M5, BMW 550, Corvette, WRX, Ford Falcon XR8, Jaguar E-Type, and we were joined along the way by an Audi RS4 (or something).
first up, the boys from Adelaide had to travel 800km just to get to the ferry to get there, and the pics from that portion of the journey are online in this gallery here:

Not sure if you've got this one sorted but it's the March issue, the one with the Monaro chop-top on the front. If the OP still needs a copy just let me know as I'm one of the freelancers here on MOTOR so should be able to get something out to you.

The fleet that went to Taz sounds pretty amazing...all stuff you don't expect to be here in Oz. Bet it was awesome. We should be heading over that way to do something special with a trio of familiar cars in the next few months. Should be good.

BTW - keep up the great read jumpingloci & co at MOTOR - you guys don't realise just how refreshing it is to get the monthly dose from Oz when workin over in Soap Dodger ville!
