Did anyone watch this last night? I'm still fuming over the ABC's biased presentation, I'm struggling to put into words just how angry it made me...

I will quote myself from the GGWS thread in the P&P:

After the doco he then smugly went about picking errors and inconsistencies out, critisising graphs and data etc. Then held an extremely biased panel discussion where he continually allowed a MMCC employee ( ) to interject and argue with anyone who dared to oppose his views.

I was watching with my GF, she got so annoyed with the biased way it was presented that she wouldn't watch it all... hmm maybe they have shot themselves in the foot; I have felt that she didn't go along with my scepticism re MMCC, looks like the ABC have actually converted her

i watched it ages ago on Google Video. Have you ever listened to the utter tripe on Triple J when they have phone ins etc, or discussing any issues. I used to work at the ABC's Gore Hill facility, never worked with a bigger bunch of ineffectual line toe'ers than this lot. Did you honestly expect an unbiased view from the ABC?

I know what you mean about JJJ, I was a big fan of their music in the mid 90's but had to "tune out" of the politics...

I wasn't naive enough to expect impartiality, but I thought Tony Jones was well out of order. He certainly lost any shred of respect I had for him as a journo, I just hope that Karen's reaction to it was common.

I didnt see this particular doco but I am getting pretty fed up with the way the press operates here.
I dont like the very 'americanised' way of presenting news, the lack of world news and biased reporting. I tend to look to other sources for new reports now.
