RE: Lotus Type 119

The Lotus Type 119 got third place overall beating Ford, Bentley, MIRA, Prodrive, Cooper, Jaguar, Ilmor, Ricardo, Vauxhall and others. Not bad for a first attempt.
McLaren were second (Boo) and BMW were first (Boo Hiss).

Actually there were two classes, Roadster & Streamliner.

Lotus came second in the Roadster class behind BMW/Rolls Royce and Mclaren came first in the Streamliner class.
